People magazine released an update on this week’s cover story, which first featured Morales last week. Two of the children were adopted by Morales, 29, immediately after their birth in January. The other couple just joined the family. “It feels so fantastic to have all four,” Morales remarked as he appeared Wednesday with four people. All infants are healthy and growing. “It was a blessing in disguise. “We’re simply doing our best. “I am really grateful to everyone who got together and assisted us,” he shares.

Sondra Bridges, Erica’s mother, moved in with her son-in-law to care for the babies: Tracy, Paisley, Erica, and Carlos, Jr. She, like Morales, expressed thanks for the ongoing help her family has received. “It’s interesting how things turned out. It was heartbreaking, but thanks to God and the public’s overwhelming support, it became a sensation,” she remarked.
“And I’d like to thank each of you individually.” We appreciate all of your help. “Nothing in life makes me happier than this.” But, while still under anesthesia, Erica immediately went into hypovolemic shock, a significant blood loss emergency. She d ied within a few hours.
Morales told the magazine that despite his anguish, he stayed firm for his children. “These youngsters have no idea how many blessings they have bestowed upon me.” He stated, “They gave me four reasons to live.”
